LKisEvents: Clin d’oeil 30 Years of Style Fashion Show, Montreal

I grew up thumbing through the pages of my mother’s fashion magazines.  I spent hours perusing the aesthetic photos and longed to be able to step into the scenes chalk full of fashion.  Last week, at Montreal’s Festival Mode & Design, fashion mags came to life: famous cover girls from the past 30 years of Clin d’oeil magazine worked the runway in Holt Renfrew’s fall collection.  In addition to the style icons that walked the runway, the winner of the Become a Professional Model thanks to Clin d’oeil contest was announced. For this fun fashion-filled (and truly weird weather) day I wore a Betsey Johnson jacket, shorts, suede open-toe shoes and my Prada purse- hair not blow-dried of course because there was no telling when the skies would open up!:

Here are some of the highlights from this awesome show:

An open backstage, everyone could watch as the models were getting ready

The streets were packed in anticipation of the show

Spectators lined the tent waiting for the show and dressed adorably

The show began and former Clin d’oeil covergirls and fashion models strutted their stuff.

 Isabelle Jutras

Anick Redburn (who got serious applause)

Nadine Picard and Hondo Flemming

Model in a fabulous snake print dress and fur vest

Model in a sleek red dress (I would wear this with motorcycle boots- maxi dress is so on its way in)
