LKISEvents: Montreal Fashion Week, The Scene Day 2

Okay, last post about Montreal Fashion Week. But I like to cover the fashion and style on and off the runway. You have seen my coverage of the runway (my posts on day one and day two and then all those Facebook albums), and my comments on the stylish scene between shows on day one, too. Well, turns out that my second day was just as stylish and I have to say that what I love about fashion weeks in general is that they bring out the creativity in everyone. Being an individual is what it is all about and fashion trends are a suggestion, not a rule.

My outfit on day two (I did a whole post on this one!):

As promised, I was inspired by the white and studs seen on the scene on my first day at MFW.

This show-goer had fuchsia-dyed tips. Love this!

A bold gold bolero made quite the splash.

I thought this Madmen-esque inspired outfit had a cool modern twist.

A metallic wrapped dress was definitely a go-big statement.

And, I flipped for this feather-trimmed get-up (made by an up-and-coming Montreal design student btw) on fellow style-scenester Dominique Lawrence.

Another fashionista with flare: Blogette Viktoria Disenvall.

My favourite expression of idividuality for the evening? This guy’s awesome bedazzled Expos T.

It’s not hard to love the energy at fashion week. Celebrating fashion, creativity and showmanship, it brings out the style star in all of us.
