I meant to write this post like a million years ago…so here goes!
I dressed up in a cobalt blue sparkle-y halter dress and my favourite bling-ed out pumps.
For my makeup: exagerated eyes and an intense orange-y red that I loved with my blue dress.
Walking in, I knew I was in the right place: Biko Beauttah was greeting guests in an insanely awesome car-inspired get-up.
Also looking fabulous that evening: Gail McInnes was sporting the most incredible millinery creation.
We wandered around upstairs taking in the sights and I freaked for this over-the-top display.
Then we headed downstairs to view the retropsective of Sir Elton John’s jaw-dropping stage costumes.
Okay, so Daffy Duck was a little crazy for me but I have to say these elaborately decoreted suits would be a welcome addition to my wardrobe!
After taking in all the incredible fashion, it was time for the show. We got to our seats and had blast watching the Scissor Sisters, Elton John and tons of others.
The whole night was special one and brought together my two favoruite things: music and fashion. It was a blast seeing the Toronto fashion set come together, looking fab and dancing in the aisles!
I think this was the last Fashion Cares event so it was great to see it go out with a bang.
