Day 1 of World Mastercard Fashion Week (Toronto Fashion week to be exact) was a a pretty easy day. I only headed to one of the shows and after a camera meltdown, it was all over for me!
I did get to see the Holt Renfrew Show, and it did not dissapoint (not that I was surprised!).
The show was all about what is in store and on-trend right now…
The runway featured a mix of looks from Canadian and international designers, including Dsquared2, Lida Baday, Jeremy Laing, Pavoni, and Smythe, right through to Kenzo, Tom Ford, Victoria Beckham, YSL, and many more.
I completely FLIPPED for this caped white dress.
Colour-blocking was a cool take on this winter-ready coat….and dig those amazing gold heels.
And, this closing look was totally dramatic and chic.
The Holt Renfrew Show is always bang-on and it feels kinda’ nice to watch stuff go down the runway that is ready-to-wear as well as ready-to-buy.
My first day of World Mastercard Fashion Week was not the photography session I had hoped for (technical difficulties are always brutal), but I was still happy to be “home.”
More tomorrow! (and a new lens for my camera to-boot!)
