LKISEvents: World Mastercard Fashion Week, the Fashion Day 4

Already day four of World Mastercard Fashion Week has come and gone and I was psyched to see some great fashion shows hit the runway. I headed out to the tents and watched an array of aesthetics, from sassy denim, to feminine separates, fun outerwear to sleek womenswear, it was all there.

First show on day four was Triarchy and it was truly a show. With a nautical theme, the girls walked out with rope-wrapped tops and of course the signature jeans. This is not my first Triarchy show, and I knew that it would be filled with a rock ‘n roll edge and a totally sexy vibe.

Highlights: Copper metallic brushed denim, multi-coloured tie-dye, skinny jeans.

Rachel Sin

I could barely see the Rachel Sin show due to some serious front row lack of etiquette (KG, a post on fashion show etiquette is coming soon, I promise!) but from what I could see, it was an array of separates in basic colours that would be perfect for any working woman. I loved the hints of lace-y details that took these wardrobe staples to the next level.

Highlights: Lace inserts, beige is the new black and coral as a standout colour.

Soia & Kyo

Keeping outerwear fresh is no easy task, but there were definitely pieces in this collection that made me stop and take note. I really dug the fresh warm weather vibe of the whole show and I was totally into the suede pieces for the warmer months.

Highlights: Mints and yellows, coloured suede (yes please!) and nylon as a must-have for spring.

Arthur Mendonca

Is it wrong to expect love before you even see a collection? In this case, my expectations were totally met. Last season, I died for Arthur…and I mean died. And, here it was again. Sophisticated, chic, cool and feminine all at the same time.

Highlights: Obie belts, jewel tone pieces, and I wanted everrrrrrrrything.

It’s been a crazy week, and no it is not over yet! Onto day 5 of World Mastercard Fashion Week!

See you on the runway,
