The last day of Montreal Fashion Week was all about colour, simple lines and cohesive collections. Here is my take on the three shows I attended:
The Fashion: This show was basic in terms of muted but beautiful colour (no print) and I have to say that the silhouettes were gorgeous. This young designer is definitely one to watch…
The Beauty: Crystallized eyebrows and slick hair made for a modern, strong and feminine look.
The Fashion: This urban-cool show had a great playful side to it. It was sexy, tough and had an eighties touch with rough drawn patterns, denim and splashes of neon.
The Beauty: Bold lips and decked in shades, these girls were ready to strut down any Bronx street.
The Fashion: A ton of black and white and signature colour-blocking. Interesting addition this season was a jellyfish-inspired print and silhouette.
The Beauty: Swept up hair and darkly outlined eyes made for an ethereal aesthetic.
So that’s it:
I have to say that while the crowds did seem a little thinner, the runway was definitely packed with stuff that I can honestly say I would work with and/or wear.
Another Montreal Fashion Week done!
On to the next 🙂
