LKISEvents: Nolcha Fashion Week, S/S 2014, The Scene

So, we checked out the fashion on the runway at Nolcha Fashion Week (if you missed it be sure to read Part 1 and Part 2 of my fashion review), but there was plenty of style off the runway, too.

Show-goers, celebs and all-around fashionistas hit the scene at this event for up-and-coming fashion designers.

Here are a few of my favourite fashion highlights:

I thought a tulle and leather was the perfect combination for this attendee.

A blush pink satin suit and a coordinating butterfly scarf covering his face, made this guy mysterious and rather fabulous, all at once.

This ensemble of crop-top and full skirt, complete with body jewelry was utterly stylish.

I also thought these leather garbage-bag shorts were awesome… Not to mention her ombre hair and striking head piece.

Speaking of headpieces, these designers were sporting headbands from their own collection inspired by their culture and Miami headquarters.

Once we are on the accessories topic: You know me…always checking out the footwear!

I thought these wedges were pretty wonderful.

And, I flipped for these woven nude sandals.

I also spotted the Cloud boots! (For my post all about these shoes click here)

Did I mention that there were plenty of celebs showing their support for the event?

Christy Turlington stole the midday show in the front row.

Kelly Rutherford was also front and centre.

The Project Subway show (see my review here) drew a whole bunch of fun peeps! Jarred (the Subway guy), and Mel B (Scary Spice), to name a few.

Mehcad Brooks was definitely enjoying the shows.

And, the Carrie Diarries’ Chloe Bridges was looking amazing in completely on-trend green.

All-in-all the show, both on and off the runway at Nolcha Fashion Week did not disappoint.

This event is sure to continue to gain traction and bring us what all people in the industry crave and need:

A fresh take on fashion.
