My next post on Virgin Radio is up and here it is, for all you LKISStylers, posted on my blog too!
I can remember being a student in NYC and wandering past the Catherine Malandrino store in Soho, marvelling at the feminine and utterly French designs that were not even remotely in my student budget. Needless to say, recently, I was thrilled to hear that Catherine Malandrino would be opening a store in Montreal. And, last night, I headed over to Sherbrooke and MacKay to check out the opening of this new addition to the retail scene in our city.
The store itself is gorgeous with a fresh, elegant feel and, of course, it was packed with the Montreal stylish set.
Immediately, as I walked in, there were pieces that caught my eye on the mannequins. I was totally drooling over the army green studded vest.
And, I loved the asymmetrical coat (it completely had me at hello).
Some of the attendees were also wearing Malandrino and looking utterly fabulous. My fellow bloggette from www.365daystofindlove.com, Cheryl Besner was working a great drop-waist leather dress in a sophisticated blue.
And, the lovely Sara Popa was positively kittenish in this 50’s stylish perfect LBD.
I then got a tour of the collection and here are some of my favourite pieces:
The cutest outfit ever (I want this)
Die-cut winter white
And, these amazing woven booties
I also got a chance to actually meet Catherine Malandrino, who is not just stunning, but epitomizes elegance.
I love that Montreal is gaining another stylish retail spot… and I can tell you that after having seen the collection, there is no way anyone will be just window-shopping.
