LKISStyle: On Virgin Radio, Searching for my Prints Charming

New Post up on Virgin Radio:

And, of course, you can check it out below!

I have been spending a lot of time in NYC these days and I have to say that the stores are already packed with pieces that are perfect for Spring. Most notably, I have been falling in LOVE with the print-covered dresses that I am seeing all over the place.

We saw this print-frenzy starting already on the red carpets for both the Grammys and the Golden Globes and while I didn’t love any of the renditions I saw of this totally sophisticated trend, I am still 100% behind it (just not these three versions…yucko).

I have ventured out to track down some prints done right and I have not beendisappointed. I spotted this Milly dress and thought immediately that this would be so perfect for a beach party with crazy coloured heals and wild beachy hair.

This nature-inspired print dress from Phillip Lim is an ideal work dress and I love the gathering in all the right places.

The print for a more formal affair?

This Cactus Garden print from Matthew Williamson that is utterly ethereal.

Peter Pilotto’s blue and pink print is jaw-dropping and I think that criss-cross waist detailing is super-extra-flattering.

Finally, I FLIPPED out for this floral from the queen of print, Mary Katranzou– it’s just so Carrie Bradshaw 2.0.

And, check out her Rollercoaster print mixed with this fabulous floral…sick.

It is still freezing out. True. But why not get excited about the season that is just around the corner? This prints-charming is one that I can totally believe in.
