I am in love with Free People these days (trust me this is not the last post I will be writing about these guys).
They have truly understood who they are in the marketplace and have managed to create amazing peices that are wearbale for those who itentify with their total hippy-dippy Coachella vibe and for those who, like me, only like to dabble in the shabby-chic fashion arts.
I came across this fabulous lace dress at thier store on 5th Avenue in New York (and I was hard pressed not to purchase a ton more).
Oozing with feminine details, ruffles in all the right places, and a hemline that speaks my language, I knew this was going home with me.
So, how do I wear this piece without looking like I am joining Fleetwood Mac or about to call myself a Phishead?
Why with a few select pieces to accessorize, I managed to keep myself on the hippy side minus the “p” and the “y.”
First up, were neutral sandals by Aldo, new for their spring summer collection.
Add in a little love (I mean I have to be hippy-ish) from BCBG Generation.
And, then I hardened it up with my signature armour ring and popped my hair into a messy ponytail.
A free love-vibe at a night out in South Beach without being too literal (and definitely some love for Liv, right Orly?!).
This dress will totally be my go-to this summer and who knows…maybe it will be the summer of love.
