The seventies are back with a bang, this we know. But the true test of seventies style is how you incorporate one of the biggest trends this season into your wardrobe, and that is the ever-present fringe. My favourite way to wear this look? Definitely accessorize with some swingy movement and enjoy full seasonal fashion street-cred.
Here are my top 4 definitely-do accessories with fringe:
These boots from Aldo say it all. Practical and fashionable, a killer pair of boots make all the difference in Fall. Fringe just takes your look (day or night) from all good to all great.
It was an unexpected delight when I saw these amazing suede fringe gloves at Le Chateau (obsessssssssssssed!). These would be amazing with those short sleeve blazers you aren’t sure what to do with as the temperature cools down…and I mean, who are we kidding? These would be amazing with ANYTHING.
Feeling the blues as the skies are beginning to look a little grey? Well, fringe jewellery can give your look a fun playful vibe that is sure to spice up your get-up. Try grabbing a great piece, like these two I saw at Express, and pair it with something as simple as a white T, jeans and a cardigan for that perfect let’s-frolick-through-the-foliage vibe.
4. The Shawl:
I stand behind this fringe accessory so big time that I own two and bought an additional one for this season. This is again a great way to add fringe without committing head to toe (the beauty of accessories is it gives you a soft trend touch instead of a heavy handed fashion statement).
